How to use Pi Tape brand Precision Vernier Periphery Tapes

Wrap the tape (clock spring steel) around the circumference of any cylindrical component.  Take a direct reading of the DIAMETER to 0.01mm or 0.001” resolution by precision measurement.

Standard tapes are 12.70mm total width (6.35mm each end) x 0.25mm thick.
