Our range of heated knives, designed especially for the roller manufacturing industry, allow you to cut through rubber quickly, easily and, more importantly, safely.
Cold rubber is a tough material to cut through. A great deal of effort and time are required to cut the rubber (even with the sharpest of knives). As a result it’s easy for the knife to slip resulting in damage to the roller or injury to the operator.
A heated knife, in effect, softens the rubber at the point of contact. This allows the operator to cut through the rubber with greater ease and accuracy.
As less force is required, it reduces the risk of the knife slipping and damaging the rubber or injuring the operator.
Heated knives also allow operators to cut through rubber much quicker, increasing the speed of the production process.
