Flexible, convenient grinding
Grind parallel and cambered rubber rollers quickly and efficiently with the Wizard 3™ & 4™ grinding attachments.
Specially designed for retrofitting to any type of centre lathe, the Wizard 3™ & 4™ are incredibly easy to use. The user-friendly Omron touch screen, question and answer PLC, controls the linear slides and recirculating ball screws.
Pre-programmed with every conceivable shape of roll, it covers all the small batch roll maker’s needs. Simply select the relevant programme, insert the length, start and finish diameter parameters and push the start button.
Flexible and powerful
Wizard 3™ & 4™ are powered by a 7.5kW or 11kW motor; both are special, high torque, 22 pole, 2800rpm motors
For wheel speed fine tuning when grinding rollers of differing diameters, the Wizard 4TM offers greater flexibility. Its infinitely variable, inverter drive with grinding and wheel speeds from 580 – 5800rpm are selectable in 1 rev increments and programmable through the PLC.
Easy to use and compact, Wizard 3™ & 4™ are unlikely to interfere with any normal turning operations when not in use.
